Companies in the network may be considered for commercial, industrial, civil and site development, utility, infrastructure, and multi-trade project scopes when their trades, service area, and capacity align with what a project team has asked us to find.
This is not a public directory and not an open bid board. Your company information is reviewed privately by the Build Network team. Submitting it does not guarantee acceptance into the network, project consideration, an introduction, an award, or future work.

Who the Contractor Network Is For
The network is built for construction companies — businesses that hold their own contracts, carry their own insurance, and put their own crews or equipment on a jobsite.
General and Prime Contractors
Companies that hold prime contracts and self-perform or manage scopes on commercial, industrial, civil, utility, and infrastructure projects.
Subcontractors and Specialty Trades
Trade contractors performing defined scopes — site work, concrete, structural, envelope, mechanical, electrical, interior build-out, and specialty systems.
Companies With Verifiable Experience
Businesses that can describe completed work relevant to the scopes they want to be considered for, in their own words.
Defined Coverage and Capacity
Companies able to state clearly where they work, what workforce and equipment they have available, and what scopes they are prepared to take on.
The network is for companies, not individuals. We do not accept submissions from individual workers, tradespeople seeking employment, or job applicants, and Build Network does not source contractors for individual homeowners or personal residential projects.

How the Review Process Works
There are four stages between a submission and any introduction. Not every company moves through all of them, and not every submission results in follow-up.

You share your trades, service area, workforce, equipment, licensing and insurance status, and a short description of relevant experience.

Internal Capability Review
The Build Network team reviews the submission privately and records the scopes, regions, and capacity your company describes.

Project-Specific Follow-Up When Relevant
If a project team asks us to find contractors for a scope that appears to align with your company, we may contact you about that specific opportunity.

Verification Before Any Introduction
Before an introduction is organized, we review project-specific alignment with the requirements communicated for that opportunity.
Follow-up depends entirely on whether a project team is actively searching for the scope, region and capacity a company describes. Many submissions are simply kept on file. Build Network does not promise a response, a timeline, or a volume of opportunities.

The first contact is deliberately light. We ask what your company does, where it works, and what it has available — nothing more. There are no file uploads on this form, and no field asks for a document.

Does joining the contractor network guarantee work?
No. Submitting company information does not guarantee acceptance into the network, project consideration, an introduction, an award, or future work. Build Network does not control which contractors a project team selects, and does not award construction contracts.
Is Build Network an employer or a staffing agency?
No. Build Network does not employ crews for projects, does not place individual workers, and does not act as a general contractor, subcontractor, construction manager or procurement agent. The network is a file of construction companies, not a workforce.
Is this a public bid board or a contractor directory?
No. Your company is not listed, published, or made searchable anywhere. Projects are not posted for open response and work packages are not distributed for broad bidding. Reviews happen privately within the Build Network team.
What kinds of companies can submit information?
Construction companies operating in the United States — general and prime contractors, subcontractors, and specialty trade contractors. We do not accept submissions from individual workers or job applicants, and we do not source contractors for individual homeowners.
Which sectors and trades are considered?
Searches most often originate in commercial, industrial, civil and site development, utility, infrastructure, and multi-trade or phased construction. Within those, scopes range from site work and structural packages to building systems, envelope, interior build-out, and specialty trades.
Do I need an active license and insurance?
Requirements depend on the scope and the jurisdiction. The form asks about license status, general liability insurance, and workers’ compensation because project teams routinely ask about them. Answering does not qualify or disqualify a company on its own.
Do I need to send documents with my first submission?
No, and we ask that you do not. There are no file upload fields on this form. If a specific opportunity moves forward, Build Network will request the documentation appropriate for that project privately and directly.
How might follow-up happen?
Only when a project team is actively searching for a scope, region, and capacity that appear to align with your company. In that case we may contact you about that specific opportunity. Many submissions are simply kept on file, and we do not promise a response or a timeline.
Can my company update its capabilities or service area later?
Yes. If your trades, coverage, workforce or equipment change, submit the form again with the current information, or write to info@buildnetworkus.com. The most recent submission is the one we work from.
Build Network does not perform construction, supply labor, employ crews for projects, act as a general contractor, subcontractor, construction manager or procurement agent, control award decisions, operate an open bid board, or publish work packages for broad distribution.
